The Christian Discipleship Center is a Bible-based recovery program for Native American Christians who want help and hope in overcoming addiction to alcohol and substance abuse. Our 90-day residential program offers sound spiritual principles for restoration, character rebuilding and life direction.

We are located in a rural setting outside of Cortez, Colorado, near the Navajo and Ute reservations. The large 6 acre campus is complete with dorms, classrooms, dining room, laundry, gymnasium and exercise room, as well as offices and staff housing. CDC is a place of refuge where Christ’s love is ministered to hurting lives and spiritual healing begins. It provides a structured program of teaching, counseling, nutrition, physical work, and recreation for the Native man to find God’s answer for a new life of discipleship and victory. MISSION

Restoring and rebuilding lives for our Lord Jesus Christ requires a dedicated staff and a multifaceted ministry. Here are some key elements essential to the effectiveness of our ministry.

Believers trapped in habitual sin patterns like addiction have experienced alienation from families and friends and have lost vital fellowship with God. They suffer a great loss of hope and are plagued with a burden of guilt few of us realize.

STAFF

The ministry of the Christian Discipleship Center is carried on by missionaries or volunteer staff with their own source of income enabling them to serve on this mission field. All staff must read and sign their agreement with the Statement of Faith, Biblical Model of Alcoholism Treatment, and the Principles and Procedures Manual.
